Working in partnership with The Consultation Institute, AMP are helping clients undertake better engagement and practitioners to obtain recognition for best practice, thereby enhancing the credibility of consultations and the reputation of those who organise them.
The Institute deploys its Associates to deliver most of its services, ensuring a compatible approach, and one that observes the principles of the Consultation Charter and is up-to-date with latest best-practice. AMP provides TCI clients with ‘packaged’ solutions or services such as Quality Assurance for consultations or a Risk Assessment, where they receive the benefit of the experience obtained by delivering the service to previous clients. Andy has provided this support to a growing number of NHS organisations going through the service change and consultation process
AMP provided interim staffing to a client who needed a team member to join them to provide commissioning advice to a re-tendering process. This commission required technical competence and knowledge transfer skills.
East Cheshire Council Public Health needed someone to handle the transition the commissioning of services from the NHS to the Local Authority. AMP provided an experienced manager who had previously commissioned award winning substance misuse services.
With the initial commission complete and services safely transitioned, performance management framework in place and all service level agreements moved onto council contracts, AMP were asked to extend their involvement to handle the re-tendering of drug and alcohol services. This involved service user, provider, stakeholder and public engagement to develop commissioning intentions and a service specification. The tender was awarded in and AMP have led the implementation of the contract.
